Axon Ecosystem

Axon was announcing the Axon Ecosystem alongside its boldest bet — a moonshot initiative to reduce police-related gun violence by 50%. The announcement needed a physical home at the IACP 2022 conference, in front of the police chiefs who would decide whether the moonshot went anywhere.

A booth design inspired by the lunar space theme of the moonshot, with an AR room as its centerpiece. Inside, guests could explore the initiative's key pillars and the products supporting each one — an argument you walk through instead of a pitch you sit through.

I led the design and production of the experience, from the booth concept through the interactive build.

Attendees used iPads inside the AR room to interact with volumetrically captured scenarios and dynamic simulations. Around the room, holographic displays showed high-resolution renders of Axon's products, keeping the physical and digital layers of the booth in one cohesive environment.

The AR room anchored Axon's booth at IACP 2022, one of the nation's largest gatherings of law enforcement leadership. It gave the moonshot announcement a form that leadership could engage with directly, not just hear about.
