Salesforce Magical Treehouse
The opportunity

In 2022, Salesforce approached us to create an activation that would draw attendees into their booth with visual excitement and give them a memorable takeaway for participating. Everything had to work within Salesforce's disciplined brand guidelines. With mascot characters as beloved as theirs, that read as an opportunity rather than a constraint.

The idea

Give the characters a home: a magical treehouse guests could operate themselves, with a physical reward at the end of the interaction. Pull a lever, watch the characters come to life, walk away with something in hand.

My role

I led the design and build, working closely within Salesforce's brand system to translate their iconic mascots into a physical, interactive installation.

How it was made

Guests pulled one of three levers, each triggering animations in a holographic display that brought the characters to life, performing playful jigs in their enchanted environment. As a reward, the machine dispensed branded stickers featuring logos and character designs. Around the treehouse, glowing LED mushrooms illuminated the space, and smaller holographic displays were embedded as windows offering a peek at the ongoing activity inside the tree. Lush foliage and additional brand characters filled out the surrounding environment, so the whole installation felt alive with movement.

Impact

The treehouse was a crowd favorite on the floor, drawing steady traffic to the booth. Playful interactivity, a tangible memento, and brand storytelling — all inside the guidelines.
