The opportunity

In 2019, AR was emerging as a disruptive force in technology, and Adobe wanted to position itself at the forefront. Their claim was that the next generation of spatial content would be designed with the tools creators already used. They needed a piece that made the argument visible.

The idea

Show it rather than say it: a film demonstrating Adobe's core product suite as the bridge between what a creator imagines and what an audience eventually walks through. The framing was empowerment — Adobe's tools driving the next generation of content and experience design.

My role

I led production of the film, which was released as Adobe Immersive. That ran from concept through the VFX-driven finish.

How it was made

We combined live-action footage with a traditional VFX pipeline to depict experiences designed and built with Adobe's tools. The VFX work had to read as plausible AR — close enough to real capability that the promise held up.

Impact

The film gave Adobe a clear statement of intent at exactly the moment AR broke into the mainstream. It positioned their existing product suite as the way creators would design experiences that push past traditional boundaries.
