Slopes 2026 — Opening Films

LionTree's 2026 retreat needed an opening — and connective tissue between its sessions — that reflected the year's dominant conversation: what AI-driven creativity actually looks like when it's crafted rather than generated.

A suite of films — an opening piece and a series of panel bumpers — built with AI imagery and AI-composed music, then finished with traditional craft: editorial, sound design, color, and mastering.

I led the series — concept and visual direction, the AI imagery and music development (including writing the musical direction myself), and the finishing pipeline through delivery.

AI-generated visuals and composed music were treated as raw footage, not final product — cut, sound-designed, colored, and mastered like any film, delivered show-ready in broadcast formats for live playback.

An opening sequence and session bumpers that carried a single visual language across the event — AI as an instrument, played deliberately.
